Peter Borrelli

 Peter Borrelli, 92, of  Torrington, CT, passed away  Thursday, April 28th, at his home.  He was the husband of the late Isabel Ozzone Borrelli who died in 2009.
 Born in Torrington, CT on March 28, 1924, a son of the late Victoria (Morzella)  and Pietro  Borrelli,  he served as a Medic in the US Army during WWII in the India-Burma Asiatic Theater. He was a retired machinist from the Needle Division of The Torrington Company.   He loved spending time with family,  playing the guitar and singing,  and was a horse race enthusiast.   Peter is  survived by a daughter, Victoria Borrelli and  sons Peter Borrelli Jr, Philip Borrelli and wife Barbara, Michael Borrelli and wife Claudia,  and Joseph Borrelli,  6 grandchildren and 11 great Grandchildren.  He also leaves a brother Rudolph and sisters Rosemary Borrelli and Victoria Knotowicz,  and his dog Marley.  He was predeceased by a daughter Darlene and son Anthony
 Funeral  Services will be held at Phalen Funeral Home, 285 Migeon Ave Torrington, CT, at 10:30 on Monday, May 2nd, with burial following at new St. Francis Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home
