Just learned of "Red's" passing, it was listed in the May issue of QST - the Amateur Radio magazine. I knew him as a ham radio operator from the old days, and knew many of his associates. I had the opportunity (as a Temp) to work with him at the Torrington Company.

Dear Margret, Barbara & Billy,
We are so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I'm sorry we will not be able to be with you for Bill's service, but will see you when we return. Bob has many memories of working with Bill on his ham radio gear, his computer in the cellar, his old red tractor in the backyard and the weekly coffee breaks @ McDs with Bill & Don. We have you all in our thoughts & prayers. God Bless. .
