For some reason that perhaps only God knows, I was moved to look up Nancy. You can imagine the shock and sadness at finding out she has passed from us in this life. I was a patient in the Winsted Memorial Hospital many years ago and had the wonderful experience of having Nancy care for me. Yes, she was a nurse but went so much further than what was required of her professionally in love and kindness. For instance, as I was hospitalized through the 4th of July holiday and alone, Nancy came in on her own time to visit me bringing with her barbecued chicken wrapped in foil and refreshments so that I would feel part of the holiday. I will always remember her larger than life personality, her laughter, and most of all, her loving kindness.
God bless you Nancy, you certainly have blessed us.

Nancy was something else! Loved every minute I spent with her, close to 35 years + . Excelled at everything she did.
Celebrated teachers in a big way for Teavher Appreciation Day. Helped me and my 3 sons get in and out of the ER.
