Zenobia (Gerwatowski) Nowakowski

 Zenobia Nowakowski, 86, of Torrington, passed away Monday, June 29th, at home surrounded by her family.  She was the wife of the late Henry Nowakowski.

Zena was born in Poland on August 11, 1933. daughter of the late Michael and
Stella Gerwatowski and lived in Torrington for 54 years.  She had many jobs but retired from PTC Aerospace. A dedicated and hard worker, she enjoyed gardening,  cooking, sewing, her cat Max, and she had a strong sense of Faith in God.  She loved bringing her family together with her Polish traditions,  making her the heart and soul of her family.  Zena wanted nothing more in life than fro her family to be happy and healthy.  Her beautiful life will be forever cherished by her family.
She is survived by daughters, Hanna Florian and husband David,  Anna Clark and husband Steve,  grandchildren Ella Boulli and husband Richie,  Diana Mazzacane and husband Jonah, Tania Chrzanowski,  Steven Clark, Kayleigh Clark and great grandchildren Amelia, Lilah, Samuel, Gabriel, and Avery.  She also leaves a sister Virginia Antoniak.   She was predeceased by her son, Zbigniew Nowakowski, and brother Walter Gerwatowski.  Kocham cie mamo, babci, i siostra!
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wed. July 1, Noon at Saint Peter Church in Torrington.  Burial will be private.  In Lieu of flowers,  memorial contributions can be made to St. John Paul the Great Parish 160 Main St Torrington CT 06790.  www.phalenfuneral.com
