Wayne W (11/30/2023) Grenuck

Wayne W. Grenuck, 68, of Torrington, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 30, 2023, at home.  Wayne was born in Torrington on January 11, 1955, a son of the late Teresa (Price) and Victor Grenuck.  A lifelong Torrington resident, he was employed as an electrician, having worked for many years for Gregoire Electric in Winsted and later working in New Mexico and Florida before returning to Torrington.  At one point in his career, Wayne had his own company, Grenuck Electric.  In earlier years he enjoyed being part of the Torrington Softball Leagues.  He was a true gentle man and gentleman, who loved his music, was sweet, kind, and had a heart of gold.  Wayne will be missed by many.  He is survived by three sisters, Ann Church and husband Lee of Alabama, Ruth Stotler and husband Robert of Nebraska, and Debra Kraft and husband Stephen, of Torrington and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.                                                                           In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Carol Bukovics.  Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, December 13th, at 11 AM, at New St. Francis Cemetery.  Please consider performing a random act of kindness in Wayne’s memory.  For online memorials, visit www.phalenfuneral.com
