Vincent Brophy Jr

Vincent Brophy Jr, 87, of Torrington passed away Oct.10, 2025. He was the husband of the late Beatrice McAllister Brophy. Born Oct. 28, 1937 in Sidney Cape Breton Nova Scotia, he was a retired Iron Worker for Bethlehem Steel and Barkers Steel.  He had been a youth hockey volunteer in his earlier years and enjoyed snowmobiling in Vermont. He is survived by his son Steven Brophy, daughter Jacquelyn Brophy Cruz, and niece Angela Jacquemin 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He also leaves brothers Bob, Tom and Terry and was predeceased by brothers Frank and Donald and sisters Jean, Patsy, Patty, and Judy.
