Traci Gonska

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Traci Gonska on February 15, 2025, at the age of fifty-two.  Traci succumbed to a medical emergency at Saint Vincent’s Hospital, there surrounded by her loved ones where she left us peacefully.  

Born on July 25, 1972, in Minot, North Dakota, at USAF Regional Hospital.  Traci was raised and resided in Torrington, Connecticut.  She is survived by her parents, Joyce (Cahill) and David Gonska, her brother Matthew Gonska and his fiancé Rafaela (Marinho).  Traci’s biological son Ryan Gonska and his wife Kara (Schoedler), who are expecting a child in June of 2025.  Her nieces Alexis Gonska, Olyvia Gonska, and Sophia (Marinho).  Her nephew Gabriel Gonska, whom she affectionately called “Bean & Little Gabey,” and her ex-husband and dear friend, Daren Dellagelfa.

Traci’s passing leaves an indelible void, as she was a beacon of kindness, selflessness, and compassion.  Her infectious smile and remarkable laugh could light up any room.  Family was her cherished priority, and she expressed her love for them with unwavering devotion.  She adored and treasured her nieces and nephew, forever taking great pride in being Auntie Peanut.

Traci’s absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.  A celebration of life will be announced and held in the near future to honor her life.
