Tina Pursel

Tina Pursel, 47, of Torrington  passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on June 25th 2021 after a three-and -a-half-year battle with cancer.  Born October 4th 1973 in Bloomsburg PA,  Tina relocated to Connecticut with her family in the early 1990's.  She remained close with childhood friends and family both in PA and NJ while easily making new friends here and creating lifelong relationships.If you were fortunate enough to meet her you were instantly greeted with a beautiful smile and a warm and friendly heart.  Her friends were treated with undeniable loyalty and generosity.  She was a brave, tenacious, and courageous.  Tina was a fighter and committed to her beliefs.  This was evident in her battle with cancer.  She stayed her course and fought hard.

Tina's greatest love was her beautiful daughter and best friend,  Ali;  together with the love of her life, Alan Kittle,  they raised a beautiful and compassionate young woman. 
Tina had a special bond with their horses, Spirit and Dreamer.  This became one of Tina's most favorite passions.

She is survived by the love of her life, Alan, their daughter Ali,  her parents Steve and Joyce Pursel,  brother Steve Pursel and wife Ann,  aunts Jeanne and Judy,  as well as several other loving family members and friends.
