Thomas Richard Piontkewicz, 75, of Torrington, passed away Saturday, December 25th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.
He was the husband of 37 years of Suzan Carey Piontkewicz.
Born Oct. 16, 1946 in Torrington, son of the late Stanley and Anastasia Stasia Mendel Piontkewicz . He was employed as a printer at Grayarc.

His hobbies included fishing and playing the horses. He was also a blood donor for many years. In addition, he was a longtime member of the Foresters of America.
He also enjoyed his cats, Fluffy and Nipper. In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves his in-laws, William Lake, Jr., and wife, Joanne Cole; and Audrey and Wayne Rougeot; as well as many family and friends, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Virginia Jarmosik, Elaine (Jamie) Opperman, and Paul (Val) D’Andrea; and by his brothers-in-law, Ron and Dennis Carey.
