Theodore Cremasco, Sr, 76, of Torrington, CT, passed away Tuesday, February 11th, at Village Green of Bristol. He was the husband of 50 years of Sharon (Rose) Cremasco
.
Theodore was born in Torrington, CT on January 14, 1944, a son of the late Catherine (Albreada) and Silvio Cremasco and served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.
He was retired from the City of Torrington Department of Public Works and Pollution Control Plant. He was a member of The First United Methodist Church, VFW Post 296, and a life member of the DAV.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Theodore Cremasco Jr and wife Tara of Rhode Island, and daughter Sharry Cremasco and fiance John Ehrhardt of Beaufort SC., and four granddaughters, Alyssa Sebastian of Quincy, MA,, Kyla Sebastian of Beaufort SC, Megan Cremasco and Kaci Cremasco-Pestritto, both of Torrington. Also surviving are sisters Elisabeth Perry of Goshen, and Sylvia Dickinson and Alma Peveri of Torrington, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Luciano and Mario Cremasco and sisters Josephine Josefow, Marie Oakley, Isabelle Milanese, Laura Formaggioni, Roseann Cremasco and Linda Jones.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 15th at First United Methodist Church. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Frinds may call 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 14th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington.
