Susan (Lockwood) Krohner

Susan Krohner, 77, of Wilmington NC, died from Acute Myeloid Leukemia on Monday January 2, 2023 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT. Susan was born in Providence RI on July 30, 1945,  the daughter of the late Clinton Lockwood Jr and Margaret Henderson Lockwood.  She was married to Thomas E Krohner for 55 years.  Prior to her retirement from a 33 year teaching career at Region 10, Har-Bur Middle School in Burlington, she resided in New Hartford.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Gregory E. Krohner, Heather, of Wilmington NC and a daughter, Anne Amundsen and husband Gregory,  and granddaughters Katharine and Elizabeth of East Stroudsburg, PA.
Per Susan's wishes,  there will be no calling hours or funeral services.  Her ashes will be scattered in places she loved.  She would like all who knew her to remember her as a friend,  artistic individual,  and caring person.  A life well lived.  online memorials www.phalenfuneral.com
