Born on Long Island, Sue spent her childhood and teen years in beautiful Laurel Hollow, New York, graduating from Cold Spring Harbor High School. She went on to work at Curry Chevrolet in Hempstead before leaving New York to be part of the opening team of Torrington Honda, in Torrington, Connecticut. Susan is survived by her daughter Lauren Duchene Gardner, grandson Daniel, and granddaughter Ava; Brothers Ora Curry Jr, Thomas Curry, and sister Patricia Brennan; and two nephews, two nieces, three great-nephews, and two great-nieces. I have often heard Susan described as a spitfire or firecracker, always ready to help and defend friends and family. Susan’s kind Heart and generosity has helped many along the way and will be greatly missed by those she touched, including the squirrels, Bears, and of course, Finn. Services are at the convenience of the family.
