Sue Ellen Dockery

Sue Ellen Dockery, 72, died unexpectedly March 14, 2024 at home. She was born December 2nd, 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas to Irene (Crow) and Roderick Dockery. She attended Eastern Hills High School and Stephen F. Austin State University, where she studied English and Music. Soon after graduation, Sue moved to New York City where she lived until moving to Torrington CT in 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by her spouse of 30 years, Cynthia M. Bonini, brothers Larry and Steve Dockery, their wives Joani and Holly, niece Jade (Dockery) Bowser, and nephews Garret, Sean, and Timothy.

A service of remembrance will be held at Phalen’s Funeral Home, Torrington CT on August 8 th , 10:00-11:00 am In lieu of flowers, donations to American Diabetes Association, Animal Welfare Society, or Family Planning Association of Texas would be warmly appreciated.
