Stella (Bigos) Gryniuk

 Stella M Gryniuk, 98, of  Torrington, CT, passed away  Tuesday, August 16, at home.  She was the wife of the late John Gryniuk.

Stella was born in Harwinton, CT on April 26, 1924, a daughter of the late Catherine (Perdak) and Stanley Bigos.  She was a Health Inspector at Torrington Area Health for over 40 years.

She is survived by two sons,  John J.Gryniuk and wife Grace and their children John A. Gryniuk with Julia Willenbring, Gina  and husband Steve Livardo;  Mark Gryniuk and children Jason and Amanda:  and a daughter Susan Simmons with Richard Rossi and children Matthew and wife Jui and Kevin and wife Monica.  She also leaves 6 great grandchildren.  The family would like to give special thanks to Stella's caregiver,  Josephine Barker,  for all her care and concern.

Funeral Services will be held 11 AM on Monday, August 22nd at Saint Francis Church in Torrington, with burial following at new St. Francis Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions can be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.  www.phalenfuneral.com
