Scott Philip Brignolo 63, of Sandisfield MA passed away on Thursday, January 7th at his home.
Scott was born on January 29, 1957 to Armondo Gildo and Bruna Louise Brignolo (Brusasca) in Torrington CT. Growing up Scott was a top notch athlete for the Torrington Red Raiders and excelled as a baseball player. Scott was a part of the legendary P-38 state championship team. He later played baseball for Sacred Heart and Teikyo Post University.
Scott worked as a machine setter/operator for The Torrington Company/Timken/RBC. He was a hard worker at home also, maintaining his home and property in Sandisfield where he lived with his wife Pam. Scott was a loving, caring father to his two sons Jeremy and Thomas and gave his all to raise them as respectful, hard working people.
Scott is survived by his wife Pamela Brignolo (Stratton) of Sandisfield, son and daughter-in-law Jeremy and Kathryn Brignolo of Litchfield, grandson Smith Brignolo, granddaughter Gabriella Brignolo Bunarotti, brother Glenn and Marsha Brignolo of Coral Springs FL, sister Lynda Thibeault (Brignolo) of Torrington, sister Dawn (Brignolo) and Thomas Romaniello of Hawington and several nieces and nephews.
Scott will be remembered as a fun loving, hard working man with a goofy sense of humor. His mild demeanor made him easy to approach and talk to whether it was a matter of importance or to get a good laugh. He was an avid hunter and fisherman that enjoyed the outdoors. He had a heart of gold and will be missed by all that knew him. Due to Covid-19 regulations we are choosing not to have a wake or visiting hours. Instead, our family will be hosting a celebration of remembrance at some point during the summer (date to be announced). Our family thanks everyone for their love and support during this time. online memorials www.phalenfuneral.com
