Sandra Lee (Barella) Brzozowski

Sandra Lee (Barella) Brzozowski 77,of Torrington passed away Nov.20, 2022.  She was the wife of the late Stanley J. Brzozowski.  Born in Torrington Jan. 4, 1945, daughter of the late Frank and Shirley (Eklund) Barella, she was a laundress at Wolcott Hall Nursing Center for over 30 years.  Known as" Pretty Momma" to many, she loved to dance,  listen to music,  enjoyed summer picnics in her backyard, long country rides to Vermont,  the challenge of playing cards,  and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl L. Brzozowski and boyfriend Scott LaForge, Allison M. Brzozowski Currier and wife Lisa Hageman, Diane J. Brzozowski and boyfriend Brian Claffey,  grandson Cameron S. Currier and fiance Marina Meyers and their son Jeydon,  along with a great grandson on the way.  She also leaves a sister Lynne Proulx and husband Marc of NH., companion David Hayes, and beloved cat Molly.
Funeral Services will be held Friday Dec 2, at 11 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church.  Burial will follow at new Saint Francis Cemetery.  Friends may call Thursday 5-7 PM at Phalen Funeral Home.  Memorial Contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Torrington Soup Kitchen.  A Life Celebration will be announced at a later date.  www.phalenfuneral.com
