Ronald was loved by many and had a heart of gold. He was always there to help someone in need, and never hesitated to do so.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but his biggest enjoyment was spending hours driving on any back road imaginable, taking in the peaceful scenery of nature, and planning his yearly trip to Hunter Mountain for the Celtic Festival with his grandchildren, Justin and Sara.

Besides his wife Yolanda, Ronald is survived by his daughter, Carla Derrickson of Torrington. Sons Ronald Beecher JR. and his wife Jenny Eldridge of Avon, and David Beecher of Torrington, five grandchildren, Justin and Sara Derrickson of Torrington and Jayden, Mason and Ayden Beecher of Avon, a sister Donna Larson and Brother George Beecher, Aunt Fay Bosco and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sisters Joann (Beecher) Mancino, and Marion (Beecher) Pastizzo.

A private funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020.  Due to current events, a memorial service will be held at a later time.

You are now free from pain. Our hearts are broken, you will be missed immensely. For every back road we take, to the brightest stars in the sky, we know that you will be right there beside us. We love you...    online memorials www.phalenfuneral.com
