Roger Rougeot

 Roger Rougeot, 85, of  Torrington, CT, passed away  Sunday, December 29th, at Wolcott Hall. He was the husband of Patricia Cisco Rougeot.

Roger was born in Torrington, CT on January 25, 1934, a son of the late Louise Schatelot and Henry  Rougeot.  He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War aboard the USS Wisconsin.  He was a firefighter for the City of Torrington for 25 years and retired as superintendent of alarms.  An avid golfer, a  UCONN basketball fan and Yankee fan.
In addition to his wife,  he leaves three sons, Roger Rougeot Jr and wife Patsy and their children Nicole Partyka and husband Mike, and Roger  Rougeot III,  and Shannan Ulman and husband Matt; Robert Rougeot and wife Maria, and their children Ryan,  Matthew Rougeot , and Alexzandra Thomas: and Ricky Rougeot  and wife Karen,  great grandchildren Calleigh and Madison.  He also leaves his sister Marion "Mickey" Rougeot and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by brother Henry "Rip" Rougeot and sisters Lorraine LaRoccco and Doris DiLaurenzio
Funeral Services will be held Friday Jan 3 at 10 AM from Phalen Funeral Home to Saint Francis Church for a Mass at 11 AM  Burial will follow at new Saint Francis Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
