Roger Brewer

Roger “Bucky” Brewer, 83, of Norfolk, CT passed away Saturday, March 23rd, at home after a long battle with cancer. Born in Torrington, CT on October 27, 1940, he was the son of Merlin and Doris (Bruey) Brewer. Roger lived most of his life in Torrington and worked for many years as a construction laborer. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing, and seeing his family and friends.

He leaves behind his two sons, David (Lynn) Brewer of Winsted and Daniel Brewer of East Hampton. Also, a brother, Raymond Brewer of New Hartford, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Judy Brewer Duhaime, and a brother, Lee Brewer, Sr.

There will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the Wildlife Fund, c/o Connecticut Wildlife, P O Box 1550, Burlington, CT 06013.
