Robert A Hannett

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of Robert Hannett’s passing. Robert passed on May 12, 2025, surrounded by those he loved the most. 

Robert was an amazing man presented with so many challenges in his life that he never let keep him down.  He touched the lives of so many. Robert was a true family man, even if there were no biological ties.  Robert was a proud landscaper, a dog lover, and a devoted bowler.  He filled our days with his passion, humor, and undeniable spirit. He was always quick with a joke, firm in his opinions, and fiercely strong-willed — a combination that made him unforgettable to anyone lucky enough to know him.

Robert had an incredible heart. His loyalty to those he loved ran deep, and he was always looking out for others — wanting to take care of everyone around him- particularly those less fortunate. 

He found joy in music, often playing the guitar and harmonica, and he had a true gift for art — especially through his beautiful suncatchers that brightened so many windows and lives.

We will miss him dearly and appreciate the many ways he made the world a better, more colorful place.  

A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at the Community Systems, Inc. office on Saturday June 14th at 1pm.
