Robert H Grohs

 Robert H Grohs, 81, of Torrington, CT, passed away Sunday, April 17th, at Summit Healthcare in Plantsville.

Robert was born in Torrington,  on July 18, 1940, a son of the late Frances (Thorne)  and Henry  Grohs.  He served in the U.S. Navy in the Naval Construction Batallion Four.
He worked as a mason for the local union,  and later worked as a house painter.

He is survived by his briother,  David Grohs,  a niece Julie Grohs Cruz,  and nephew Christopher Grohs.  He was predeceased by a brother,  Jonathan Grohs.

Funeral Services will be held 10 AM on Tuesday, April 26th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington, with burial following at Hillside Cemetery.  Friends may call 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, April 25th.
