It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Robert Arnista, of Harwinton who passed July 3, 2023, at the age of 62., after a courageous battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Barbara, daughters Allison Arnista and Alyssa Arnista, and cat Daniel, sister Karen Murack and husband Fran, brother Rick Arnista and sister Lori Karp and husband Gary. He was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Margaret Arnista.
Rob was an electrician by trade, employed by the Torrington Company until closing and then Thomaston Savings Bank. Rob loved fixing things around the house and working on his lawnmowers. He enjoyed bowling with his buddies, watching UCONN Women's basketball, Nascar, and spending time with his family. The family wishes to say a special thank-you to the staff at The Cancer Institute at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital and to the hospice team for their care and compassion, as well as Dr Devaney for his kindness and dedication to Rob during his illness.
The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday from 5-7 PM at Phalen Funeral Home. Memorial Donations can be made to The Little Guild of Saint Francis of West Cornwall CT. www.phalenfuneral.com
