Rita A (Lucas) Rosenbeck

Rita A. Rosenbeck, 93, of Torrington, CT. passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025. She is now in Heaven with her husband of 54 years, William H. Rosenbeck, Sr.

She is survived by her sister, Donna Broggi of Palm Harbor, FL. and was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph Lucas, Jr. and George Lucas, her sister Suzanne Foley, and parents Joseph Lucas, Sr. and Anne Lucas.  She has two children, William H Rosenbeck Jr. (Suzanne) of Putman Valley NY and Sandra Corcoran (Mickey) of Oakville CT. and three grandchildren, Paul D. Rosenbeck of Costa Rica, Kristin L. McMaster of Torrington, CT. and Brian M. Rosenbeck of Norfolk, VA. (Xiomara), three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed her decades working at the bank and her annual Winter trips to Florida with family and friends, new and old. She also had lifelong friends with whom she went on drives that ended wherever, but usually just in time for lunch or dinner. Bowling, playing golf, going shopping, crafting were among the things that brought her joy as did working in her yard and flower gardens, and so much more. She is going to be missed by her family and those she held dear over her lifetime. A graveside service will be held Monday June 2, at Noon at New Saint Francis Cemetery.
