Richard Lee Colombie, 87, of New Hartford, CT, passed away Saturday, February 5th, at home. He was the husband of 67 years of Janet Noad Colombie.
Richard was born in Torrington on March 10, 1934, a son of the late Mary (Pasini) and Alphonse Colombie.
He was a foreman at O&G Industries, one of the few who worked for 3 generations of the Oneglia family.
An avid NASCAR fan, he was a member of the Elks and Eagles Club, and was one of the oldest members of Burlington Men's Club.
In addition to his wife, he leaves 3 sons Richard Jr and wife Nancy, and their children Rebecca and husband Mike Miller, David and wife Gizella and their children Jacklyn and David Jr., Dennis and wife Pam and children Alan, Joseph and his wife Emily, and Mary, and a great granddaughter McKenna Rose Colombie.
He also leaves a sister Caryl Pucino and was predeceased by a brother Gerald Colombie and a infant granddaughter Erica.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 10th at Immaculate Conception Church in New Hartford, with burial following at Saint Peter Cemetery.
Friends may call 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 9th at Phalen Funeral Home in Torrington. Please wear a mask at the services.
