Richard E (Sr) Carter

 Richard E Carter, Jr, 81, of Torrington, CTpassed, away Friday, January 13th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

He was born in Torrington, CT on March 8, 1941, a son of the late Laura (Robinson)  and Richard E Carter, Sr and served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War.
He was employed as a service representative for Pitney Bowes for over 30 years He is survived by a sister,  Patricia Stolfi,  and niece Tami Soja and husband Tom, and great nephew Michael Stolfi and great Niece Rachel Jacanin.  He was predeceased by brother in law Frank Stolfi and nephew David Stolfi.
