Ray “ Moose”Cordani

Raymond “Moose”Cordani passed away peacefully on November 5th at the age of 86. Ray was born at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington on February 20th, 1939.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Josephine Scarfo- Cordani, his loving 1st wife Silvia Main-Cordani, and his brothers Anthony “Spot” & Patrick “Patsy”Cordani.
Ray is survived by wife Tracy Cook-Cordani. He will be lovingly remembered by his 4 children & their spouses Tucker Raymond Cordani, Diana & Michael Warner, Alicia & Chris Borreguard, & Thomas & Lori Botelho. His surviving brother’s & sister’s along with their spouses Joseph & Barbara Cordani, Gloria & Buddy Maduex, & Rachel Cordani, and Al Cordani.
Ray was adored by his grandchildren Ryan & Lindsay Warner, Bruce & Serena Botelho & Brian Shepard along with many nieces and nephews. He also had 6 great grandchildren.
Raymond graduated from Torrington High School where he played football and later graduated from The University of Bridgeport. He worked as the Tax Collector for the City of Torrington before he semi-retired as a Realtor in Florida. Moose loved to golf, watch sports, cook his famous meatballs for his family. Ray was known for his generosity, having the kindest heart, and his ability to keep everyone laughing. He will be missed by his family very, very much.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Wednesday November 12th at St. John Paul the Great Parish St. Peter’s Church on East Main Street) in Torrington. His burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery on East Pearl Rd. Torrington. Online memorials wwww.phalenfuneral.com
