Raymond F Brewer

Raymond F. Brewer, 86, of New Hartford, CT passed away Friday, May 30, after a long battle with COPD. Born in Torrington, CT on April 3, 1939, he was the son of Merlin and Doris (Bruey) Brewer. 

Ray was a veteran of the US Army, and retired sheet metal worker. He loved the outdoors, especially motocross, mountain biking, and fishing.

He leaves behind his dear companion Lucille Purcell; niece Shelly Duhaime; and nephews Dean (Tammy) Duhaime, David (Lynn) Brewer, and Daniel Brewer. He also leaves several cousins, friends and his kind neighbor Bill Welch.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Helen Ritter Brewer; his sister, Judith Brewer Duhaime; brothers, Roger Brewer and Lee Brewer, Sr; and nephew, Lee Brewer Jr.. There will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to The Little Guild, 285 Sharon-Goshen Turnpike, West Cornwall, CT 06796.
