Philip J Cyr Sr.

Philip J. Cyr Sr. of Torrington was reunited with the love of his life Lola M. Cyr on October 2nd 2021 with his loving family by his side. Son of the late Arthur J. Cyr and Catherine Agnes LaFrance, he was born December 21st 1939 in Franklin New Hampshire. He is survived by his son Philip J. Cyr Jr. and wife Terri, his daughter Michele Cyr and fiance Jon and grandchildren Michael Cyr and wife Dawn, Cassandra Gilbert and husband Marshall, Philip Cyr III and Daylon Cyr and also three great grandchildren who meant the world to him. Philip is also survived by a brother and sister, many nieces and nephews and predeceased by a sister and brother. Philip enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Philip left us all with his unforgettable quote, “It is my way or the highway”.

Services will be held Thursday Oct. 7 at 11AM at Phalen Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Saint Francis New Cemetery.  Friends may call prior to the service from 10-11 AM.  Memorial Contributions can be made to Connecticut Children's Hospital.  www.phalenfuneral.com
