Peter Jacquette

Peter Jacquette, 72 of Goshen  died unexpectedly of a motor vehicle accident on Friday, June 14, 2024.  Born in Torrington, CT on July 11, 1951, he was the son of the late Floyd Jacquette of Bristol, CT and Jennie Marino Jacquette of Torrington, CT.  He attended Goshen Middle School for 8 years.  After school he was employed at Tom Kellys Farm in Goshen doing numerous jobs, worked at Camp Brodie, New Hartford, Aero-Space in Bantam and Booths Foundry in Torrington.  He also belonged to Drakeville,   Goshen and Cornwall Fire Departments.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed volunteering for the Torrington Veterans Service Office as an Honor Guard providing final Military Honors for deceased Veterans.  He also served as Vice Commander of Local American Legion.  He is predeceased by his twin brother Paul Jacquette and sister Marguerite Sweeney, he leaves  a sister Linda Grieco and brother in law Tim Grieco of Torrington,  a longtime companion, Dorothy Goodwin of Torrington, his niece  Tara Grieco of Torrington, nephews Todd Grieco (wife Tracie) of Maine, Anthony Friedrich and Clifton Sweeney of Torrington,  Jared Jacquette of North Carolina, great nephews Jordan and Chase Jacquette of, NY, a great niece Arielle Jacquette also of New York, and VERY  close friends Cal Silano and Sherrie & Dean Pergola along with their children Luke, Brie and Leah.
