Paul C Markel

 Paul C Markel, 79, of Torrington, CT passed away Saturday, July 13th, at Hartford Hospital.

Paul was born in Harrisburg, PA on December 28, 1939,  and served in the Military Police in the US Army during the Korean War.  He was a Police Officer for the City of Torrington Police Department for 20 years,  and later served as Security at Torrington Towers.
He is survived by a daughter Tammy Bunnell and fiance Chette Osowiecki and her children Kenneth Bunnell, David Bunnell, and Jerry Bunnell,  his sons Kenneth  Markel and wife Pleashette and their children Brian Markel and Michel Haag and husband Cody;  Paul Markel and his daughters Karissa Letterman and husband J.T., and Chevona Markel and was predeceased by granddaughter Jennifer Bunnell.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 20th at First Congregational Church  835 Riverside Ave Torrington.
