Patricia Stone Obituary

Patricia Ann (Coneita) Stone, age 86, lovingly known as Patti, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, from complications following recent surgery. She was surrounded by her four devoted daughters, their husbands, and her cherished grandchildren.

Patti was born August 2, 1939, in Bristol, Connecticut.  From an early age, Patti faced many health challenges. She endured numerous surgeries and long hospital stays, yet she never allowed these hardships to define her. Her courage, resilience, and unyielding spirit shaped a life filled with creativity, generosity, and love.

Patti and her husband, John Homko, raised four daughters together. Fiercely independent, Patti became the guiding force of the household while her husband’s work kept him traveling. She gracefully balanced a full-time career with unwavering involvement in her daughters’ lives, bringing determination and heart to all she did.

Several years after John’s passing, Patti attended her 50th high school reunion, where she reunited with her childhood love, David Stone. Their connection rekindled instantly, and shortly thereafter they married. Patti’s life blossomed in new and beautiful ways. Together, they shared countless adventures before settling into their new home in Harwinton in 2024.

Patti was predeceased by her parents, Grace (Ferro) and Daniel Coneita; her only sibling, Prudence Albert; and her former husband, John Homko.

She is survived by her daughters: Sabrina (Chris) Janco, Daphne (Karl) Roberson, Peyton (Mark) Hilpert, and Dana Homko (Tim Haskell); six grandchildren: Shea Roberson (Tina), Madison Levins (Jim), Alee Roberson, Christian Janco (Peyton), Taylor Janco, and Mariah Hilpert; four great-grandchildren: Pierce Roberson, Kingslee Lyons, Jesse Janco, and Rori Levins; and her beloved dog, Dax.

Patti will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, warmth, and love.

Services will be private. The family respectfully extends their sincere gratitude to all who share kind thoughts, prayers, and well wishes during this difficult time. Donations may be made in Patti’s memory to the Harwinton Ambulance Association, 166 Burlington Road, Harwinton, CT 06791.
