Neal Martin Lucas

Neal Martin Lucas, 60, of Torrington passed away on April 6, 2024 at home. He was the husband of Phyllis Lovett Lucas. Born in Los Angeles Feb. 7, 1964, son of the late James and Arlen Marcella Lucas, he was employed by the Torrington Company for 19 years and later worked at different oil companies as a great oil delivery driver. He prided himself as being a professional.  Neal traveled all over growing up and loved karaoke, loved to sing with his sister and brothers, and was the life of the party, having a wicked sense of humor. He loved sports played football, softball, billiards, golf, and basketball, and played the ponies. He was a faithful Cowboys fan and enjoyed all animals and 5 of his 6 cats. He loved trips to Daytona with his wife and walking on the beach.

In addition to his wife, he leaves a son Michael Lucas and significant other Allison of Rocky Hill, step daughter Crystal Lovett and step granddaughter Crystal McLellan of Torrington, sisters and brothers Scott (Kelly) Lucas, of Torrington, Jim (Deb) Lucas, Joann Lucas, Nancy Yamaura, Matt (Keri) Chambers, and Amy Lucas, all of Spokane WA and several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by a sister Janet Lucas.
