Nancy Pozzo

Nancy A. Pozzo, 62, of Winsted, passed away on August 21, 2020.  She is predeceased by her parents Richard and Annie Pozzo of Harwinton and her brother Mike Pozzo of Torrington. She is survived by her daughter Shauna Ladwig and her grandchildren Gavin Ladwig, Elena Pritchard and Elijah Pritchard of Winchester, brother Richard (wife Marilyn) Pozzo, sister Sandra (husband PJ) Huebner, brother Bill (wife Dee) Pozzo, and many nieces, nephews (who were very dear to her heart) and extended family.

Nancy was a smart business woman and owned several businesses in her lifetime including a beauty salon in Litchfield, an asbestos removal business in Bristol and a convenience store in Torrington.  She also worked as a dispatcher for Brookfield PD and worked for the Connecticut State Police in Crimes Analysis and Special Licensing Unit before retiring.  She was a very hard worker and a very loving person.  In her retirement she loved spending time with her family and all the nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and much time on brother Bill’s farm.  

Her memorial service will be private with her family.  Donations can  be made to the American Diabetes Association.  We will miss you very much Nanc and love you always.
