Michele (Lemieux) Bellody

Michele P. Bellody, 66, of Torrington, entered into eternal life on Monday, April 10, 2023. Michele was the beloved wife of 43 years to Marc Bellody. Born in Torrington on June 18, 1956,
a daughter of the late Paul and Geraldine (Bourque) Lemieux, she had been a resident of Torrington for nearly all her life. Michele was a graduate of Torrington High School, class of
1974, and Northwestern Connecticut Community College. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the YMCA, CVS Pharmacy, and The China Shop for many years and was a
communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Michele was a passionate and talented artist with well-known works throughout the area. She painted murals that were on display of several local storefront windows during the holidays. Her other passion was spending time with her family, especially her two grandchildren, whom she loved so dearly. Michele enjoyed vacationing in Madeira Beach, Florida, every autumn, with her husband. She also loved music, taking photos, gardening, summers, and hosting family picnics. Her smile and laughter were contagious, and she will be missed immensely.
Michele is survived by her husband, Marc Bellody, of Torrington; daughter, Laura Tyler and her husband, Mark Tyler of Farmington; cherished grandchildren, Kayden and Evan Tyler of Farmington; son, Aaron (A.J.) Bellody of Torrington; six brothers, David Lemieux of Torrington, Gregory Lemieux and his wife, Wendy of Torrington, Gerald Lemieux and his wife,
Annette of Adelaide, Australia, Marc Lemieux and his wife, Jamie of New Hartford, Vincent Lemieux of Torrington, and John Lemieux of Harwinton; along with numerous nieces, nephews
and friends.
Funeral Service will be Friday, April 21, 2023, with a celebration of Michele’s life at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 160 Main St., Torrington. Michele’s family would like to extend.
