Michael Edward Dean

Michael Edward Dean, 35, of Torrington passed away January 30, 2024.  Born in Torrington on June 27, 1988, he was the son of James R. and Deborah Balsaski Dean. He attended Torrington High School and was employed as a machine technician at B&D in Canaan. He enjoyed family and friends riding quads and target shooting.  An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he was also an accomplished cook and a Silver Glove Boxing Champion.

In addition to his mother, he leaves his life partner Roseann Judson and their daughter Jemma Rose Dean, and the extended Judson family.  He also leaves brothers James W Dean and Thomas D Dean and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, Feb. 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Phalen Funeral Home.
