Mary Ann (Dickinson) Tucker

 Mary Ann Tucker, 81, of Torrington, CT, passed away, Wednesday, May 6th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Bradford Tucker Sr.

Mary Ann was born in Cornwall, CT on March 26, 1939, a daughter of the late Catherine (Wisniewski)  and Henry  Dickinson, Sr.  She had been employed by American Laundry,  Charlotte Hungerford Hospital,  and assisted at Norma Geronimo Daycare.
Known as "Gigi" she was a great mother and grandmother and great grandmother,  and like a mother to extended family and friends.

She is survived by a son Bradford Tucker Jr and wife Carol of Wethersfield and daughters Cheryl Tucker, Ann Morrison and husband Perry, Barbara Poirier and husband Bruce,  and Karen Finkle and husband Carl,  all of Torrington, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  She also leaves sisters Barbara Mosimann,  Virginia Pelletier, Nancy Cronin, Martha Dickinson, and Peggy Hart.  She was predeceased by a brother Henry Dickinson Jr.
Graveside Services at New Saint Francis Cemetery will be held by the family.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be scheduled at Saint Francis Church at a future date.  Memorial Contributions can be made to The Sullivan Senior Center Transportation Program.  www.phalenfuneral.com
