Mary P (Schibi) Hart

 Mary P Hart, 91, of Torrington, CT, passed away Wednesday, December 7th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital.

Mary was born in Torrington, CT on September 16, 1931, a daughter of the late Nora (Lundon) and Joseph Schibi.  A graduate of Saint Francis School and Torrington High, she was employed as a Seamstress at Jon Marie in Torrington before her retirement. An excellent seamstress, she made beautiful clothes for herself and others.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Americus Clayton and Charles Hart, and son Thomas Clayton, brothers David and Jospeh Schibi, and sisters in law Virginia and Jean Schibi.
She is survived by her daughter in law Marjorie Clayton and grandsons Thomas Clayton Jr and wife Kristin, Ryan and Joseph Clayton, and 2 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins Jean Giorda, Tony Mixcus, and Patricia Scalice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 14th at Saint Francis Church in Torrington, with burial following at Old St. Francis Cemetery.  Friends may call prior to the service from 9:00 AM to 10:30 at Phalen Funeral Home.
