Karen Wilmot

Karen M. Wilmot, 57, of Torrington, CT, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022. She was born on May 28, 1965, to Edward and Rosemarie (Mele) Wilmot in
Torrington, CT.
Karen was a 1983 graduate of Torrington High School and attended Northwest Community College. She worked in insurance early in her career and later in retail.
Karen was an avid baker and collector of cat and angel figurines; she had a deep admiration for wildlife, enjoyed working in the yard, and loved to shop.
Karen had a big heart and often went out of her way for family and friends.
In addition to her father, Karen leaves a brother Edward Wilmot, Jr., and his wife, Judi of North Granby, CT. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosemarie Wilmot.
A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, Torrington, CT, on Saturday, October 29 at 10:30 A.M.
