Karen M (Clark) Rizzi

Karen M. Rizzi, 69, of Torrington passed away Sept 18, 2021, peacefully with her family by her side at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital after a long illness.
She was born in Torrington daughter of the late Ray and Margaret (Constable) Clark,  and was a graduate of Torrington High Class of 1969.  She worked her whole life as a hairdresser and had her own business in her home for many years and adored her clients/friends who came to her.  She loved flower gardening and it showed by all the gardens surrounding her home.  In earlier years,  she had a passion for fishing and ice fishing at the lake with her late aunt Joan.  her true passion and love of her life came 6 years ago,  her beautiful granddaughter Colby Rose Rizzi,  who was her reason to live.
She is survived by her sons Joseph Rizzi of Seattle and John Rizzi of Torrington,  who cared for her in her home and granddaughter Colby Rose Rizzi.  She also leaves siblings Thomas (Diane) Clark, Kristine Clark,  Nancy (Thomas) Gorski,  and many nieces and nephewswho she adored,  Jill Barronowicz, Lynda Hudak,  Dawn Clark, Tom Clark Jr.,and Tracey Gorski and great nephew Garret.  She was a selfless person who will be missed by all who knew her.
