Joseph O'Brien Obituary

Joseph H. O'Brien, 81, of Torrington, CT, passed away Thursday, December 2nd, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. He was the husband of 55 years Mary Curtiss O'Brien

Joseph was born in Torrington, CT on December 24, 1939, a son of the late Helen (Smalskis) and Bernard O'Brien. He was employed as a landscaper and later worked for Region 10 Harwinton Consolidated Schools.
In addition to his wife, he leaves a brother, Bernard A. O'Brien.

Committal Services at Hillside Cemetery are private. A Mass will be scheduled in the future. Donations may be made to Parkinson's Foundtion Torrington Area Support Group PO Box 521 Torrington CT 06790 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.phalenfuneral.com
