Joan (Krol) Sheehy

Joan Sheehy, 80, of Torrington passed away on December 19, 2025.  She was the wife of the late William D Sheehy Sr. Born in Bridgeport, January 22, 1945, daughter of the late Frank and Pearl Butler Krol, she was employed by the Lab at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital for over 30 years before her retirement. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her son William Sheehy Jr and wife Nicole of Colebrook NY and their children William, Austtin, and Lucas, daughter Renee Wheeler and husband Lee of Torrington and their children Jennifer, Melissa, and Danielle, and daughter Deborah Alduini and husband Angelo Alduini Jr, of Torringtion and their son Landon, as well as 7 great-grandchildren.  She also leaves a sister Terri Clark of Naugatuck. She was predeceased by several siblings.

Funeral Services will  be held Friday Dec. 26 at 10 AM at Phalen Funeral Home with burial following at Saint Peter Cemetery.  Friends may call prior to the service from 9-10 AM.  www.phalenfuneral.com
