Jeannae Emi (Mead) Quadri

Jeannae Emi Quadri (Mead) 75, of Torrington, died February 9th 2022, with her family by her side in Farmington, CT.

 
She was born April 11, 1946, in Torrington to Eugene and Emily Rebillard Mead. She graduated from Torrington High School in 1965. She began her career as a nursing home administrator at Rose Haven nursing home in Litchfield, and continued to serve at many facilities throughout Connecticut, Colorado, and California.  She met and married Anton (Tony) Quadri in Alameda, CA in 1994.

She was a devout animal advocate and lover.  She rescued many cats in her life and enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds in her yard.  She devoted much of her time and energy as the primary caregiver to her mother for 27 years until she passed away 2013.  To many, she was the best friend they ever had.

Mrs. Quadri is survived by her husband, Anton Quadri; son Andrew Quadri; daughters Denise DeMarino and Tiffany Armer.

A Divine Liturgy of Resurrection is scheduled for Tuesday at St. Maron Church in Torrington, CT.  Viewing from 9:00-11:00 AM. Mass to follow at 11:00.  Burial at Hillside Cemetery follows Mass.
