Obituary

Jason Andrew Carpenter, 35, of Torrington left this world on March 15, 2022.  He was born on May 27, 1986.  He leaves behind his mother Marcie LeBlanc and husband Richard, his father Elvin Carpenter and wife Frances,  siblings Jennifer and Joshua, a son Vincent,  and a large extended family.  Jason was a smart, curious and inquisitive kid who always had something to say. He never lost those qualities. He enjoyed building model cars and taking pictures,  and he loved his "ratties".  In his final post on social media,  he wrote:  "Buy a telescope.  See  the cosmos.  Live all your life like it's your last and be nice to each other. Please."  Jason, when we look up at the night sky,  we will imagine your spirit soaring through the cosmos.  You are free.  You will be forever missed.  There will be no service.  A gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date.
