Janice M Morando, 78, of Harwinton, CT, passed away Friday, May 28th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital,

Janice was born in Torrington, CT on March 14, 1943, a daughter of the late Stella (Dybas) and Vincent Argenta. She had been employed by Northwestern Conn Community College and worked for Senior Center in Morris, Bantam, and Harwinton.
She was a caring, sarcastic, witty, and strong willed woman. She had a passion for travel and enjoyed Winters in Florida and Falls in Vermont. She loved attending car shows and cruise nights in her '56 T Bird and 60's Mustang. She had a passion for animals and people, taking in stray dogs and cats and volunteering at senior programs, helping the sick and homeless. She also liked to shop at tag sales and flea markets, collecting tea pots and pink flamingos. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by son Keith Bernard and daughter Kristine Bernard, and grandson Joshua Bernard.
Services will be held at a later date.
