Henry John Woolford
July 3, 1950 - April 3, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Woolford, lovingly known to friends and family as Hank, who passed away on April 3, 2026, at the age of 75. He was the eldest son of the late Kenneth J. Woolford and late Lucille DeFranceschi Woolford of Torrington, CT.
Hank was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose life was centered around his family. His strength—especially in his final months—was unwavering, a true example of resilience, love, and quiet courage that will never be forgotten.
He shared 54 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Laurie Andrighetti Woolford, a testament to a lifetime of love, partnership, and deep commitment.
A master furniture and cabinet maker, Hank had an extraordinary gift for working with his hands. His craftsmanship brought beauty, warmth, and purpose into the homes of many. Every piece he created reflected his patience, dedication, and pride, leaving behind a lasting legacy that will be treasured for generations.
Hank is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Andrighetti Woolford; his two daughters, Stephanie LaPorte and her husband Brett LaPorte, and Amber Manfredi and her husband Michael Manfredi; his cherished granddaughter, Jaden Manfredi; his brother, Keith Woolford; stepmother Georgia Woolford and several nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his steady presence, and the way he always put his family first. His love and legacy will live on through all who knew him, and through the beautiful work he leaves behind.
