Gordon Drake Obituary

Gordon Paul Drake, born July 14, 1948, passed away at Charlotte Huingerford Hospital the afternoon of April 24, 2020. He was an instrumental part, along with his father, in establishing the Harwinton Volunteer Fire Department of which he was a member. He worked for Stone Container and retired there. He once traveled across country paying his way as a guitar player and singer of Country Western music.
He is survived by his fiance, Anne Morin (Carter), brothers Kevin, David, Douglas, and Gary Drake and sister Sharon Drake, as well as step mother Cynthia Wolf-Drake. He also leaves step brother and sister Collin Drake and Jennifer Drake and husband Chris Kramp, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Gordon P Drake and step brother Jim Drake. A Memorial service will be held at a future date. Online memorials www.phalenfuneral.com
