Gertrude (Pollak) Kandefer

 Gertrude Kandefer, 90, of Torrington, passed away Wednesday, March 10th, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Andrew Kandefer.

Gertrude was born in Torrington, CT on November 28, 1930, a daughter of the late Gertrude and Stephen  Pollak.
She leaves two sons, Andrew Kandefer and wife Lynn Adams and Stephen Kandefer and wife Beverly Gallant  and a daughter Linda Eastman,  all of Torrington,  grandchildren Chuck Eastman, Jeffrey, Matthew, and Erik Kandefer, and Michelle Sleich.  She also leaves 4 great grandchildren and a sister Helen Gozemba as well as nieces Diane Polsonetti, Donna Shinn, and great nephew Basil Polsonetti.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00:00 on Tuesday, March 16th at Saint Francis Church in Torrington, CT. Burial will follow at New Saint Francis Cemetery.  Friends may call
