Gary Finn

Gary Finn, 75, of Torrington died Saturday March 28, 2026, following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Janice Breen Finn, Born June 17, 1950, to David and Margaret Murphy Finn, he was the last surviving sibling, predeceased by Sharon, Bill, Marian, and Paula. He was a lifelong Torrington resident and was quite the athlete in High School, earning the nickname "Fleet Foot Finn" on the football field. He worked his entire career with SNET/ATT as a cable splicer.

He leaves his 3 sons, Guy D. Finn and Timothy M. Finn of Torrington, and Scott C. Finn of West Hollywood CA as well as 4 grandchildren who he loved dearly, Patrick, Brayden, Connor, and Paisley. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all his caregivers and administrators at Litchfield Woods who made his last 3 months as comfortable as possible. especially Marie, whom he loved.

Funeral Services will be held 10 AM Tuesday April 7, from Phalen Funeral Home to Saint Francis Church for a Mass at 11 AM.
