Francis (Frank, Franny) R. Bozak, 60, of Torrington, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Hartford Hospital.

The son of the late Francis and Edna (Bregonzio) Bozak, Frank was born on May 13, 1959, in Torrington, CT and attended local schools before moving to California. He returned to Torrington in the 1990’s to be close to family. Frank worked in many fields throughout his life – as a welder, mechanic, home handyman, and maintenance man. He was most recently employed by the Torrington Walmart, working maintenance on the night shift. Frank loved history and had a passion for building models. He was a talker and always had a few words for anyone he met - especially when walking his dog, Cash.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Leslie Nigrelli of Torrington and her daughter, Geena Gasparelli; two brothers – Martin Bozak (Jennie) of Torrington, Thomas Bozak (Heidi) of Torrington; two sisters - Pamela Sutkaitis of Vernon, CT and Katherine Robertson (Douglas) of East Longmeadow, MA; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
