Everett "Sonny" Gagnon

Everett "Sonny " Gagnon passed peacefully at The Cottage of Litchfield Hills in Torrington on January 27, 2022. He was 94 years old. Everyone who knew him, knew him as Sonny. He was the son of the late Clayton and Violet Gagnon of Torrington. He was the brother of the late Jean Funk, and June Williams of Torrington, and of Florida He was married to the late Marie Lovallo for 64 years and they raised their family in Harwinton. He is survived by his son, Todd Everett Gagnon of New York, NY and his daughter Kim Gagnon Brady of Sterling Virginia and his 2 grand children, Grace and Caroline Brady. He served time in WW II for 14 months as an airplane hydraulic mechanic.  Sonny was employed by The Patterson Oil Company of Torrington for over 53 years. He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Harwinton. Services will be held Saturday, June 11th at the Immaculate of Mary Church in Harwinton at 11AM.  Preceding the Mass there will be a burial ceremony at the grave of his wife Marie at 10am at Hillside Cemetery in Torrington.  www.phalenfuneral.com
